Cozy, chic and simple

Sometimes the most simple combinations result in the most compliments.  I wore this on Tuesday, in the midst of the snow, because I wanted something simple and warm.  I had more people tell me how cute they thought I looked!  Unfortunately, I only got one good picture, because I didn't take the time to take any at home with the snow, so I made do at the office real quick.

T-shirt - Old Navy
Sweater - Banana Republic (from Amanda)
Pants - Maurices (very old)
Necklace - Charming Charlie
Shoes - Rampage, thrifted

I'm glad I had a chance to wear this sweater again, because I hear there is a chance we're going to hit 50 in just a couple of weeks. Spring is coming!  Bye bye heavy sweaters and boots - bring on the sandals and bare legs!!

Are you getting spring fever?

  1. Ya know, I feel that way about simple outfits too. I think we get so wrapped up in color combos, accessories, etc. that we forget how nice a simple outfit can look.

No wonder you got lots of compliments, this is a great outfit! I really like this sweater! Heather

  2. Love how you layered the sweater with the wine colored top! I have major spring fever but I'm not entirely convinced spring is coming yet :)

  5. That outfit is super cute, and what a pretty sweater! I'm definitely getting spring fever- I didn't wear tights today because it was a bit warmer than normal this morning...we'll see if that was a good choice or not this evening!

  6. Oh Bethie! I love this sweater. I love it on you, too. But I would love to find one for me. Just one.

Yes, bring on the sandals and bare legs, yes. We were suppose to get a storm yesterday and we didn't - finally. I love it when the weather people are wrong. Spring, yes we want spring. Too bad you had recent snow, but I am glad you modeled the sweater! It is lovely.

If I have the attitude of "oh I'll find something" it never works. But if I have a specific thing to look for -- bamm, there it is!!!! hahahahaha. Thank you!
