The simple things

Pretty simple outfit today.  But sometimes the simple things make you the most happy!  I'm pretty sure I've worn some variation of this outfit before, but you know what it's cold and I'm running out of creative ideas to stay warm!  I had a much more fun outfit in mind for today, but it will have to wait until the mercury is above zero again.

Sweater - Decree, JCPenney
Thermal shirt - Eddie Bauer
Pants - Alfani, Macy's (old)
Shoes - Mossimo, thrifted
Necklace - S&D

Speaking of simple things that make you happy, you know what other simple thing is making me happy?  Today is my Friday!  I am still a little ahead in my time off bank and my boss is getting ready to go on a rather long vacation, which means no time off for me, so she encouraged me to take a Friday or two before she goes.  I will happily do so!  I'm planning to finally get over to Clothes Mentor and hopefully sell some stuff in the morning, maybe do a little thrifting in the afternoon and then in the evening the Pants Monkey and myself are making our annual trek to Winterfest - a winter beer festival here in MN.  It will be a fun day.  Actually, it should be a fun weekend, we have nothing planned for Saturday so are hoping to catch a movie and then Sunday we'll go watch the Super Bowl with my in-laws.  Fun times ahead, but have to get through work today first.

As I think about shopping tomorrow, another simple thing making me happy is I'm proud to say I spent no money on myself for clothes the entire month of January.  I have no idea how that happened honestly.  I suppose getting the bag of goodies from my cousin helped with that.  Add to that the fact that I was down for a bit with a headcold and then just hibernating from the cold outside and somehow I was on a shopping ban without even knowing it!  That will change tomorrow though!

I am kind of laughing at myself in this last picture - it looks like my left arm is disappearing - I had sort of tucked it behind the door, not on purpose.  Oops!  Oh well.

What simple things are making you happy today?

Dogging it

Today called for a warm sweater and a scarf.  It's getting colder again and they're using the "w" word again too (windchill).  I decided to take this scottie dog sweater for another spin.  It's warm and cozy and who doesn't want to wear scottie dogs to the office?

Sweater - thrifted
Thermal shirt - F21
Pants - Worthington, JCPenney
Scarf - World Market
Earrings - Cookie Lee
Shoes - Rampage, DSW

So you all know I'm a crazy cat lady, but I do like dogs quite a bit as well.  In fact, Mr. Monkey and I would love to have a dog in addition to our two kitties, but we're just not home enough right now to make that really worthwhile.  The cats are independent enough that if we're not around it's not a big deal, but a dog would be unhappy.  Especially because we'd love a golden retriever and they are fairly social.  We have the best yard ever for a dog, so I believe it will happen someday though!

Until that day comes, I'll just keep loving on my kitties and getting my dog fix through shirts like this one!
Are you a dog person, a cat person, both or neither?

Blue hues

I knew as soon as I saw this sweater in the bag of goodies from my cousin that I'd be wearing it with my favorite blue striped Anthro pants at some point.  Today seemed like a perfect day to do so!  It's rather gross outside today, we got more freezing rain overnight.  I know we've been in a drought and we need the moisture, but I can't stand freezing rain!  I would prefer snow.

Sweater - Christopher and Banks (from cousin)
T-shirt - Decree, JCPenney
Pants - Anthropologie, thrifted
Necklace - swap with CC
Boots - Mossimo, Target

The only good part of this rainy weather is that it is a little warmer outside so at least I didn't need to wear my heavy parka.  That is what is known as optimism here in MN!

Strike out

Hey peeps, welcome to Monday!  I hope you all had lovely weekends.  My lovely weekend ended up 1 for 3.  Out of the three things I had planned and talked about on Friday, only one really came to fruition.  Sometimes that just happens I guess!  More on that in a minute.  First up, my outfit today.  I also struck out on Inspiration Monday today - it's a super cute look that the birds chose from Drew Barrymore.  She's wearing a maxi dress and a flannel shirt.  Sadly I just couldn't come up with a reasonable combination that would also look decent for work.  So instead, I opted for my favorite alternative to the maxi dress for winter - the sweater dress.  With a second sweater on top because it's cold and it snowed.

Sweater dress - H&M, gift
Button sweater - Aeropostale (old)
Tights - Target
Boots - Old Navy
Necklace - S&D

So yes, the best laid plans this weekend I tell you.  Friday night after we were done rehearsing with our music group we got ready to head on down to the new taproom and then Mr. Monkey noticed he had a text from one of his friends that there was line just to get IN to the taproom that was so long it stretched down the block.  And it was in the teens-single digits on Friday night so we're like, no we are not going to go stand in line.  His friend said they were going to the tiki bar in the same neighborhood and we were welcome to join them.  I called my friend who was going to meet us and told her of the change in plans and then we ended up with a fairly large group down at the tiki bar and had a fun evening anyway, that comes complete with it's own stories for another day or we'd be here all day, but I was still bummed to not have gotten into the taproom.

Now Saturday was a good day.  Everything went according to plan on Saturday.  We did our Mass with our music group and we were able to enjoy our date night at the polish restaurant with our Groupon.  We even were home early enough to rent a movie (Ted) and got to bed at a fairly early hour given our late night on Friday.  But it felt nice.  It was a good day.

Sunday I slept in, got up and grabbed some coffee from out and a couple of things from the store for our breakfast.  I planned to eat, shower and then head on down to South Minneapolis for my friend's spa party a little early so I could hit that clearance sale at b. (a resale shop) and maybe find something to wear for today.  Well Mother Nature had other plans for me, while we were making breakfast I looked at the weather forecast and found it was due to ice/sleet/snow at any second.  And within minutes it was raining.  Soon I got a text from my friend that the party was cancelled.  She said I was welcome to come and visit if I still wanted to, but as I'm watching the radar I decided better of it.  I don't like freeway driving in good weather conditions - add in ice and snow and it's just not a good mix for me.  So I opted to stay home where it was safe and warm.  And I cleaned out my bathroom closet and drawers and I vlogged.  Not a total waste of a day but again, I was kind of bummed!

Close up of my necklace as requested from the last time I wore it

So, it wasn't a horrible weekend by any stretch, but it did sort of feel like a little bit of striking out!  In the end, staying home yesterday was probably what I needed, we've been go-go-go since the holidays and it's nice to have downtime every now and then!

Even though I'm not there, go check out two birds for the Inspiration Monday looks - it really is a cute outfit that maybe I'll try another time!  How was YOUR weekend?

Meow

Well lookie here, it's Friday!  And Friday seemed like a good excuse to wear some leopard print!  Although I won't lie, I'm falling in love with leopard print so I guess I don't really need an excuse to wear it!  And it's not quite as bitter cold today, yay!  It is still plenty cold, but it seems more manageable today.

I'm excited for the weekend.  The taproom that we went to the soft opening for a couple of weeks ago is having their official grand opening tonight, so we're meeting some friends for a pint.  That will be a nice kickoff to the weekend.  The Pants Monkey and myself are also hoping to use a Groupon deal we bought awhile ago for a restaurant not far from the church we're doing a Mass at with our music group on Saturday, so that should be fun too.  I love date nights and I especially love them when I know we're getting a good deal!

Leopard blouse - Gap (from two birds garage sale)
Cami - Gap
Sweater - Mossimo, Target
Jeans - Maurices
Boots - Target
Necklace - S&D

Sunday a friend of mine I haven't seen in a while is having a spa party and she happens to live dangerously close to b. (a resale shop) so I might have to stop in at their winter clearance sale.  We'll see how things go!  No matter what, I'm looking forward to some fun this weekend and hopefully some down time too!  I hope you all have wonderful weekends as well!

And yet more cold

Hey guess what?  It's cold again!  Shocker!!  This has been the coldest week of winter, no joke.  I was feeling a bit of winter fatigue when I thought about getting dressed today - I love sweaters and yet, I'm tired of sweaters!  So I was at a bit of a loss as to what to wear and then I was inspired by this outfit put together by Rachel from Rachel's Lookbook.

 Flannel - Primp
Jeans, boots, jacket - Mossimo, Target
Necklace - S&D

I'm just as warm as I would be with a sweater.  It might be a tad on the casual side for work given that it's not Friday yet, but I'm just going with it anyway.  And I'm comfortable.  So there.

And an update to yesterday's story - still no signs of anything out of the ordinary.  Taylor was much less interested in the kitchen last night.  So either it was a fluke or maybe it was a bug that snuck through the cracks or something.  At any rate, I'm just glad it is NOT a problem!!

The hunter

Good day friends.  Today is not my best attempt, I was a bit frazzled getting ready this morning.  Both Mr. Monkey and myself ended up running behind today because Taylor cat was trying to convince us we had mice.

Sweater - Mossimo, Target
T-shirt - Old Navy
Pants - No Boundaries, thrifted
Shoes and necklace - Clothes Mentor

In the morning, my routine is get up and lightly prod her to go use her litter box as she sometimes has had issues in the past, we find if we just remind her a couple of times a day (kind of like a small child!) she has no issues.  So, I got up today and went to find her and she was in the kitchen staring at the cupboards.  I assumed maybe she had chased a bug or something, but didn't really see anything.  I nudged her downstairs where she reluctantly did her business and then raced back upstairs to sit by this spot.  Staring.  Now I'm a little unnerved.  The last time she acted like that was long before we even had Pippin a few years ago - in our basement office where we discovered we had mice.  So of course, now I'm thinking, oh crap.

I got Mr. Monkey out of bed and told him what was going on and we spent the next few minutes opening all the cupboards, drawers and whatever and let Miss Taylor investigate further.  Pippin had no interest whatsoever.  Taylor got in the cupboard and kind of sniffed in and around the drawers we pulled out.  We didn't find a darn thing.  No clue what that was all about!  It's an odd time of year for mice anyway, they would have had to have come in this Fall and you'd have thought we'd have noticed them by now!

So after all was said and done we were a good 15 minutes behind schedule, which is a big deal in the morning.  Taylor still seemed a bit interested in the kitchen, but much less so after we let her investigate!  Perhaps she saw a ghost instead.  Never a dull moment with pets I tell you.

I see dead people...or mice

Thinking warm thoughts

I added a bit of a summery colored scarf to my outfit today to try to think warm thoughts!  It is even colder outside this morning than it was yesterday if you can believe that!  I just keep reminding myself, I choose to live here.  Anyway, I feel like I just wore this thrifted H&M sweater but you know what, I don't care, it's warm and I'm gonna wear it again!

Orange shirt - boutique from Pequot Lakes, MN
Sweater - H&M, thrifted
Scarf - two birds garage sale
Pants - Nine West, thrifted
Shoes - Mudd, Kohls

So the sweet CC of CC's Cheap Chic tagged me with some Liebster love even though she knew I'd been tagged before.  She is the kindest person, I got to know her last summer during the Bauble Swap. Anyway, hope you're not sick of all about me type stuff, because I thought I'd answer her questions since my frozen brain can't come up with much else at the moment!

1. Why do you blog?  I started this particular blog because I was bored with my wardrobe and I wanted to learn to remix and work my closet, but it's become about so much more.  I have said time and again, it's more about the community and the friends I've made than anything else at this point.  Not to mention, it's a daily scrapbook for me, I can see what I've worn and what works sure, but I also can remember things I did or places I went.
2. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why? I've often said I'd love the ability to be in two places at once!  Then I could do fun things while full filling obligations as well!
3. The movie or the book? It really depends - most cases I think it's hands down the book.  However, I'm being a bit hypocritical in a way, I started the Harry Potter series in movie form recently, without reading the books.  I know, I know.  The books are better.  But this is faster.
4. Favorite color?  It changes from time to time but right now I'm still digging orange (heh, I'm wearing it today!) and I have always loved shades of pink and purple.
5. Beach or mountains?  I have only seen the beach in person - I'd love to visit the mountains though.  We might take a trip to Colorado in the near future so that would give me a chance to see mountains.  You can't beat sitting on the beach though on a warm day - something I'm thinking of quite a bit with this cold weather!
6. If you had to describe yourself using only four words, what would they be? Awesome, crazy, friendly, songbird.
7. Coke or Pepsi?  When I still drank soda, I was a Coke girl all the way.  I could not get enough of it.  I gave up pop a few years ago though now, I drink maybe one Coke a year and end up feeling pretty gross afterward.  I mostly drink water!
8. Flats or heels?  I do love the additional height my 5'3" frame gets from heels, but I'm much more comfortable in flats!
9. For whatever reason, you have to start your entire wardrobe, shoes included, over from scratch and you can only buy 15 pieces.  What are they?  Boy, even just a year ago I don't know I could have easily answered this question, but now I think I can.  I would buy a denim button shirt, a white button shirt, a pullover sweater in a bright color like red or mustard, a pair of dark skinny jeans, a pair of black pants, a pair of colored pants, a short sleeve shirt in a neutral color like gray, a maxi skirt/dress, a shorter denim skirt,   a tank top in white, black flats, brown boots, leopard scarf, statement necklace, multicolored handbag.  Boom. Though I didn't plan for socks/underwear, but oh well.  I think you get the idea!
10. Thrift or retail?  I do a mix of both, but I'm much more drawn to thrift shopping.  I love the deals and I feel good about it.
11. Chinese or Mexican food?  This is like asking me to choose between my kitty cats.  I think Mexican wins out a bit more for me though.  One word - margaritas.

Whew, that was a lot of stuff, but I thought that these were actually some very interesting questions and I've said before, I can't resist a chance to answer questions about myself!  Thank you CC!  You should all go check out her blog, she's a pretty awesome lady!

Inspiration Monday - Frigid

So, I'll get it out of the way right away today - it's freaking cold here in Minnesota.  Really freaking cold.  Below zero Fahrenheit type cold.  But it's also January and it is Minnesota - this is how it's supposed to be.  It hasn't been for so long though, it's really hard to take!  So I think there will be a fair amount of whining today - even from yours truly!

Taking the sting off of our bitter snap here is Inspiration Monday.  Today's look is from Lauren Conrad who appears to be somewhere far warmer than me!

And here is my look.  It's classic and I like it, you can't go wrong with a crisp button shirt and my green corduroy pants are keeping me plenty warm today!  And look, I finally got a haircut.  It's back to being a lot cleaner and easier to deal with, but it helps that my favorite stylist was the one who cut it this time!

Before it got really cold on Saturday, we did some couch swapping with my in-laws.  Well, actually we got rid of two hideous couches that we had and then went and picked up a couch and loveseat my in-laws were getting rid of.  The stuff they had was in great condition, they just wanted something different and had promised this set to the Pants Monkey a long time ago, so when they asked if we wanted it now we said sure!  One of the two couches we got rid of I didn't dislike that much but the other one was awful.  And both of them made my living room look like an old lady's parlor - which I guess makes sense seeing as it was the Pants Monkey's great aunt's house before it was ours and we inherited all of her furniture, but still.  The stuff we now have is much more modern and very me - it's plaid!

So we were fortunate to get all of that accomplished before the winds blew in later in the day on Saturday and man, once it did, I just went into full on hibernation mode.  We went to church on Saturday evening to do a Mass with our group and then after that we pretty much hunkered down for the rest of the weekend!  Watched a couple of movies, did a bunch of laundry, the Pants Monkey made us a fun egg scramble thing for breakfast on Sunday and we made fajitas for dinner.

Blazer - Bill Blass, thrifted
Shirt - Mossimo, Target
Pants - Old Navy
Shoes - Mossimo, Target
Necklace - DIY by me

Getting back to the cold, I am adding a blazer to this look, as much as I like it better without - it's just too cold to not be piling on the layers!  You won't be seeing me in any skirts this week I think!  How's the weather where you are?

For more Inspiration Monday looks, head on over to two birds.

Dotty

Who else is happy it's Friday?  Raise your hand!  Man.  It has felt like a long week and yet not so long at the same time.  At any rate, I'm just happy Friday is here!!  I'm also happy to have my fun new polka dot pants from Old Navy.  I had a gift card from Christmas and these were way on sale online, so I pretty much paid for the shipping and that was it!

T-shirt - Mossimo, Target
Sweater - Herbergers, old
Scarf - World Market
Jeans - Old Navy
Shoes - Rampage, DSW
Bag - Vintage Coach via Rewind

And of course, the polka dots didn't photograph well, so I took a detailed shot of the pants so you could see how fun they are.  They're subtle, but I like them.

Anyone have weekend plans?  It's going to be getting very cold here, so I'm guessing we'll be doing some hibernating.  I told Mr. Monkey that picking up Chinese and coming home to watch a movie on Saturday after church sounds kind of good to me!  If I get really ambitious I may take some of the stuff I'm hoping to sell to Clothes Mentor over there.  They're having a big sale too.  Oh the temptation.  I could also use a haircut.  It's only been four weeks, but this mop is getting shaggy!

And that's about all I have today.  Man, winter just fries my brain sometimes!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

A little this and that

I'm kind of excited about how this outfit came together today.  I had received this shirt from Lynne for Christmas (thanks again lady!) and it was sitting by these pants in my closet for the longest time - but it's short sleeved so it's a little too cold to wear on it's own right now.  Then I had the inspired idea to add this blazer and I like how it turned out!

 Blouse - gift from Lynne
Blazer - two birds vintage via b. (a resale shop)
Pants - Squeeze, handed off from Megan Bird
Buttonflower - MMD
Shoes - Sonoma, Kohls

So I've been tagged twice with Liebster fun in the last week from both Jess of J's Style and Ada from Elegance Personified, so I decided to answer a little bit of both of their questions because it's fun and I don't have much else to share today!

From Jess:
1. Morning person or night owl? This question is always a funny one to me - I would say neither!  I do not get along with morning - but I am an old lady who tends to be in bed most nights no later than 10 pm.  So I'm a middle of the day person, I do my best around lunchtime.
2. What is your favorite magazine? I usually splurge on Glamour each month and a friend of mine shares her People magazines with me, so I'd say both of those.
3. Where would you go on your dream vacation?  Well seeing as it's going to get crazy cold here in MN over the weekend, right now I'd say anywhere warm!  I've also never had the chance to bring the Pants Monkey to Disney World, even though I've been there a few times, so I'd really like to take him there someday.
4. What city/town do you live in and how would you spend your ideal weekend there? I live in a suburb of Minneapolis in MN and our city rocks.  I've said time and again - we have a thriving arts community, the craft beer industry is booming and we have awesome parks and places to go in the summer.  An ideal weekend for me would be eating at one of our great restaurants, stopping by a taproom for samples, and if it's summer time, going out to the zoo or a park and relaxing.

And here are a few questions from Ada:
1. Do you prefer your coffee black, with cream and sugar or just sugar?  I like my coffee with just cream actually!  I'm pretty plain on regular coffee, but I do enjoy a good latte with vanilla every now and then!
2. Do you prefer stripes or polka dots?  I like putting them together, lol.  If I had to choose, I think I'd choose polka dots though.
3. Do you prefer skirts and dresses to jeans and pants or vice versa?   I would say in the summer I definitely prefer skirts and dresses over jeans or pants!  In the winter though I reach for my pants much more often.
4. What are your most favorite colors?  This has changed for me over the years, but right now my most favorites are purple, pink and orange.

There you have it!  Thanks to both Jess and Ada, I love playing along with these things!  If anyone else wants to play along, feel free to answer these for yourself!

Cozy cowl

We are halfway through the week my friends!  And since it isn't too frigid out yet, I'm doing another skirt.  Actually it's one of my favorite dresses to wear as a skirt.  I thought it would look cute with this awesome sweater that I got for Christmas from my sister-in-law.

It's funny, when I opened up my gift from her and saw that this was sort of a turtleneck sweater I looked at her like "don't you know me at all? I never wear turtlenecks!"  Because usually I don't, I tend to feel choked.  My mom and I think we were both hung in a former life.  Anyway, after I pulled this sweater out of the box I realized it was more of a cowl neck and that it would be nice and loose fitting around my neck.  So, I actually love it quite a bit!

Dress as skirt - Axcess by Claiborne, thrifted
Sweater - Gap, Christmas gift
Tights - Target
Boots - Target (old)
Necklace - S&D

How about you?  Do you like to wear turtlenecks or are you like me and can't handle things by your neck?  What is your favorite type of sweater?

MMD Celebration

One of my favorite blog friends, the awesome Megan Mae of Megan Mae Daily is having a birthday this week! She's been a big supporter of my blog, so I had to devote a whole post in her honor! She asked all of us to come attend her virtual birthday party - so here is my outfit of celebration!

 Sweater - Maurices
Long sleeve shirt - Mossimo, Target
Skirt - Old Navy
Buttonflowers - MMD (of course!)
Boots - Payless

I chose a Megan-inspired outfit, lots of layers, fun yet comfortable shoes, and of course, buttonflowers!  In my opinion, you can never have too many of her awesome buttonflowers and I have quite a few!

I took a more detailed shot of my buttonflower arrangement on the sweater collar.  I like the layered effect of them and the different shades of pink.

I also added the fun socks Megan sent me for Christmas even though no one will see them under my long skirt - I will know they are there!

And no post in honor of Megan would be complete without a couple of kitty photos - she is a big kitty lover like myself, so I had to grab pictures of my furry loves this morning for her - not to mention, it's been awhile since they've been on the blog!  They were both pretty sleepy this morning!

Taylor giving her kitty "laser death eye stare"

Pippin curling up as an invitation to join her.  Wish I could kitten, wish I could.

Megan will be posting her virtual party on Thursday, so make sure you check out her blog to see the other guests and to wish her a very happy birthday!!

Recap of a good weekend

Hello friends!  Welcome to Monday.  Surprisingly, I'm not doing Inspiration Monday this week.  Though I find that the outfit I wore on Wednesday of last week matches the inspiration today perfectly, so I think I'm going to submit that!  Here is a link to that outfit and here is a link to two birds in case you want to see what I mean!  So anyway, today instead I chose a sweater from the bag from my cousin - and it photographed so poorly, it frustrates me a bit, but here we go.

Sweater - Ralph Lauren, from cousin
Shirt under sweater - Old Navy, thrifted
Pants - Banana Republic, from SIL
Necklace - Charming Charlie
Shoes - Etienne Aigner, thrifted

It's peach.  I love peach!  I swear it is peach, but it came out looking so orange, almost red in these photos.  I played around with the pictures a bit in my editing, but this is the best I could do.  I know, first world problems, womp womp.  I'll stop whining about that now!  I had a good weekend, let's talk about that instead!

Saturday was our oyster, we had no set plans for anything and the day turned out so fun.  We first ran to one of the newer breweries in town because they were releasing a limited release beer and the Pants Monkey wanted to go get a bottle to share with this new craft beer group he joined.  They let us buy two a piece which was pretty cool, we'll cellar the other ones for a bit.  Then we went home to make lunch and while I was checking Facebook I found out a brewery that is scheduled to officially open in a couple of weeks was having a soft opening on Saturday, so we decided after lunch we should go down and check it out.  It was fun, it's a really nice brewery and while we were there, some of the guys from his beer group actually showed up, so we hung out with them for a bit.  Totally unplanned, quite hilarious.  After that we had some dinner out which was also nice.

I couldn't let it go - quick picture at work to show the sweater is peach!

Sunday was a more relaxing day, although we each still did a fair amount of stuff!  Mr. Monkey set up his meat smoker even though it was super cold outside and smoked us ribs and a brisket for dinner.  While he did that, I baked cupcakes for the first time since last winter.  They turned out pretty good, red velvet with almond buttercream frosting.  Yum!

And I also took about an hour this weekend and went through my closet.  I do two big sweeps each year - start of fall and start of spring.  But sometimes in the middle of the longer seasons, like winter and summer, I'll do a quick pass through and see if there's anything I'm just not wearing, especially when I get things from my cousin or did a big thrift trip or also with it having just been Christmas.  So I now have a couple of bags for Goodwill and a bag I'm hoping to possibly sell up at Clothes Mentor.  We'll see how it goes!

So that's the news from here!  Hope you all had great weekends too!

True blue

Woo hoo it is Friday!  I thought that my first full work week of 2013 would drag, but actually I was very busy this week, so it kind of flew by!  No complaints here!  And yes, no pants week is over.  I just really wanted to wear jeans today!  As I mentioned yesterday, we were supposed to get rain and well, we did get rain.  In fact it started yesterday when I stopped at the grocery store after work.  Cold rain and tights?  Ick.  And it's still raining today, so pants were the choice for today.

I saw a similar outfit to this in my latest issue of Glamour, except it was a cardigan instead of a pullover, but when I saw it I figured this sweater I just got in the bag from my cousin would work instead.

I also finally got a chance to photograph the coat I bought over my Christmas break.  It's not super heavy, so it's good for a day like today that isn't as warm outside.  I love that it feels like a vintage coat, but it isn't actually vintage.  It's fun.

And then in the next picture, there is this bag.  First Coach bag I ever bought myself and I got it on Ebay, so it was not too expensive.  But, I waver on this one each year and think I might send it on down the line - but then I get in a mood like today where it looks cute with my outfit and I just want to use it.  So, I guess I'm glad I didn't get rid of it after all!  I have to laugh too, I mentioned this very early in my blogging days here that whenever I use this bag I get more compliments from men than anyone else!  I get a chuckle out of that.

Sweater - Christopher and Banks, from cousin
Jeans - Old Navy
Necklace - S&D
Bag - Coach via Ebay
Boots - Mossimo, Target
Coat - Nine West, consignment

So does anyone have exciting weekend plans?  Because I'm more up to it than I was last weekend I may go adventuring a bit with the Pants Monkey tomorrow.  I am also going to clean out my closet - it just needs to happen!  Out with the old and in with the new!  Have a great weekend!
