A little this and that

So guess what?  Dresses are really comfy at this stage of pregnancy.  Which is sort of like, duh.  Even if it makes it more of a "tunic" than a dress, I am so comfy in this entire outfit!  And it still looks nice for work!  I seriously love this Japanese Weekend dress and I fully intend to still wear it next spring and summer too as long as it doesn't look too big.  I love the colors and the print.

How much do I love that it's a short week?  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.  I love the family togetherness, I love the food, I love celebrating the blessings in my life.  I do like Christmas and I'm anxious to get my house all decorated and ready for it before baby, but I like to do it after Thanksgiving if I can.  I like keeping the two holidays separate.  Don't even get me started on how stores will be open on Thanksgiving to get the holiday shopping started, we'd be here all day.

I have the day off after Thanksgiving, I wasn't going to take it off because I'm saving all my time for baby, but I just really wanted a day.  Mr. Monkey is going to work so I'll miss him, but I plan on still enjoying my day. I have my weekly OB visit and then I'm going to work on decorating the house for Christmas, at least a little bit.  Maybe watch some movies.  I just need a day like that and I'm not going to get another one for about 18 or more years, so I'd better take advantage of it while I can!

Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls

Bag - Merona, Target

And yes, mama got a new bag.  I know you guys.  I'm weak.  I broke No Shop November for myself.  But in fairness, I was given a Target gift card from a dear friend for my birthday and I wanted to use it on something for myself and not for baby or groceries.  Target was having a buy one, get one 50% off sale on bags and wallets - so I treated myself.  I'm loving them both!  Target is on fire right now with clothing and accessories I must say!

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  I'm guessing my posting will be sporadic if non-existent over the next couple of days here - so know that I'm away celebrating with family and it's not baby time!  I fully intend to still be around posting next week, I don't think this little guy is showing up anytime soon.  I wish you and yours a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving here in the US!  I'm thankful for all of you!

Fierce

This outfit isn't my favorite attempt, but it's not the worst either.  I wore this last Thursday.  It was a bad idea only in that when I went to my OB appt and it was time to be weighed, I didn't want to take my boots off - it was enough of a chore to get them on in the first place!  So we just said they probably added an additional 2 pounds.  And they definitely kept my feet warm while I was waiting outside for my CD!

Sweater - Merona, Target
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls

At least there is something something fierce about cowboy boots and leopard print right?  Maybe just wishful thinking on my part?  I am pregnant, hear me roar?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!  Today is the Pants Monkey's birthday so the fun doesn't stop! We also have birthdays for both of our dad's in the next week in addition to Thanksgiving, so I just want baby boy to stay put through all of that and then he can come any time!

Speaking of - I have received a few awesome guest posts for while I'm on maternity leave - but I could definitely use more!  Bring them on!  Feel free to email them to me any time this week - beth (at) kondrick (dot) com.  I can't wait to share the posts I've already received and I'm sure there are more awesome ones coming too!

Inspiration Monday - Birthday Girl

Hello everyone!  It's my birthday!  I'm 32 today. And we had a good weekend of pre-celebrating!  First up though, is Inspiration Monday with two birds.  Today's model is Sienna Miller in the cutest leopard dress ever.  I'm seriously going to look for something like that for post-baby!

My take on the look is pretty laid back - but I do what I can at this state of my pregnancy!  I'm comfortable, so I guess that is good right?

So back to my weekend, I started my day on Saturday with a manicure and pedicure with my bloggy buddy Lori - it was fabulous.  We had bought Living Social deals awhile back and I tell you it was a great deal and I'm so glad I had it done this far into my pregnancy - it was the best treat to have my feet done!  I highly recommend it if any of you ever find yourselves pregnant, do yourself a favor and get a pedicure, seriously.

After that I met back up with my Pants Monkey and we headed off to the fancy theater to see Catching Fire. Worth every penny I swear, the seats were comfy, they had gourmet snacks, Mr. Monkey was able to have some alcohol, no kids, best way to watch a movie!  The movie was fantastic too, maybe even better than the first.  I really can't wait for Mockingjay now even though I've heard rumors they're splitting it into two parts.

Pants - Liz Lange, consignment

We finished out our evening on Saturday with dinner at a nice Irish pub near the movie theater.  Sunday we slept in, had a great breakfast at home and then headed out into the frigid, but beautiful day to have our maternity photos done.  I think they're going to be really nice based on the one preview I already saw!  Then we went to Babies R Us to return a few things we got duplicates on and were able to purchase a few items off our registry we hadn't received but really wanted.  Did a late mass with our music group and then more or less crashed!  Good kick off to our birthdays though.  Today after work we're just chilling at home and then tomorrow we'll celebrate both of our birthdays with our families since tomorrow is Mr. Monkey's birthday! We've always shared our birthdays but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Friday Fun

Yay it's FRIDAY!  And there was great rejoicing throughout the land!  I'm so excited for this weekend.  Not only are we going to see Catching Fire for our early birthday celebration, but I'm also getting a manicure and pedicure with Miss Lori.  And the Pants Monkey and I are having a good friend take maternity pictures for us so we can have some nice looking ones for the memories!  I know I've photographed myself just about every day during this pregnancy, which has been fun, but it will be nice to have a professional do it for me instead!

Speaking of taking pictures every day, it's getting harder to creatively dress this bump you guys.  You may see more posts like my book review yesterday here and there as we get closer to the end.  I hope you enjoyed that post though as it was a bit out of the norm for around here.

Yesterday I continued a tradition with another good friend of mine of going to stand in line at Target for a local radio station's release of a CD.  They compile live performances from various artists throughout the year and then release the CD with proceeds going to charity every November.  This year was the 25th anniversary - we've been going more or less for the last ten years.  We've managed to collect a couple of earlier years via Ebay as well, but otherwise I have years 15-25 which is pretty awesome!  They're rather unique recordings from a lot of pretty cool people, so it's fun to collect them.  This year may have been the last sadly, so I'm glad we were able to get our hands on one!

Jeans - Indigo Blue Maternity, thrifted

And of course I have to do my Friday bump shot.  37 weeks guys.  That's technically term, but as I said earlier this week, I'm happy to let him bake another couple of weeks!  Too much going on in the next week for sure, but anytime after December 1st is fair game I think!  I just keep going one day at a time otherwise, it's all you can really do at this point.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Book Review: Eternally 21

Hey guys!  I decided to do a different sort of blog post today due to being off waiting in line for a CD that comes out once a year in our area (more on that tomorrow) and then to an OB appointment before coming into work.  So, I thought I'd give you a book review of a book I read this summer that I think some of you would get a kick out of!

The book is called Eternally 21 (A Mrs. Frugalicious Shopping Mystery) by Linda Joffe Hull.  I would describe it as kind of a fluffy sort of mystery.  It's a very entertaining read - and I'm not one who usually likes mystery or suspense.  This book has just enough of those elements while still being overall fun.

We're introduced to Maddie, a 40 something mother of twins whose husband is known as "Frank Finance" on a local news program.  Frank has lost all of their money in a ponzi scheme, but asks Maddie to help keep up appearances that everything is normal so he does not lose his job.  One way she does this is by starting a bargain blog and using the alias "Mrs. Frugalicious."

The book begins around back to school time and Maddie is heading to the mall to scope out bargain shopping tips for her readers.  She stumbles into an "Eternally 21" store (total play on Forever 21 I'm sure) and ends up accused of shoplifting by the store's very cranky manager after disagreeing over some coupons. Things get worse then when the manager ends up dying in front of Maddie and other staff members.  Before she knows it, Maddie finds herself being brought in as a potential suspect - and ends up sneaking around the mall questioning other employees to try to prove her innocence.  Of course, this all comes to a head right around the time her husband has an opportunity at a new television deal that could solve all of their financial woes - so she has to keep her problems under wraps at home which leads to some sticky situations there as well.

All throughout the book she gives her "Mrs. Frugalicious" tips which just made me laugh because of all the thrifty bloggers I know.  You'll all think she's preaching to the choir - and in fact I think we could teach her a thing or two about thrifty shopping.  Besides that though, she's a likeable character and you'll find yourself hoping beyond hope that she is found to be innocent.

Again, it's mostly fluff, but I think it has just the right amount of intrigue to keep it somewhat suspenseful and page turning!  I highly recommend it!  There are going to be other books to follow in this series, so I'm anxious to check those out as well!

The number game

Hello everyone!  We've made it to Hump Day!  We're halfway to that coveted weekend!  And next week is a short one with the Thanksgiving holiday!  We've got this!

So it's really interesting to me the foods that will spike my blood sugars and the ones that don't.  I have to check my blood sugar an hour after every meal for the Gestational Diabetes.  It's all about balancing your carbs - not necessarily the sugar.  And you have to eat SOME carbs.  So, here's an example of how funny I think this is - yesterday for lunch I had a spinach salad with some chicken, a small yogurt and a breadstick.  My number was in range, but on the high side of normal.  For dinner, we had nachos with cheese and meat and well, taco chips of course.  Chips you would think would really be something that would spike me - nope.  My after dinner number was on the low side of normal!  Potatoes and rice spike me.  Pasta does not. With bread it kind of depends.  Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  It's just all big old game, but at least I'm still winning!

Pants - Liz Lange, Target

I told Mr. Monkey I don't know that I want to test at all on Thanksgiving Day - not only is it going to be a carb heavy meal, we're going to be eating at odd times that day too!  We'll see.  The end of this wackiness is in sight at least!

Improvement

Well hello again!  Thanks for letting me be a crankypants yesterday - today has started off much better.  And yesterday improved as it went on.  Oh the trials of a pregnant woman.

The biggest bright spot in my day yesterday was getting our tickets in advance to the new Hunger Games movie.  We're going to go on Saturday and treat it as a birthday celebration since we both have birthdays next week.  We're splurging and going to a fancy movie theatre - they have fancy snacks, nice seats and a bar.  How can you beat that?  It's expensive, but it will be worth it!  Probably will be the last movie out we'll get to in awhile too, so might as well go all in!

I really love how this sweater still has tons of room for my expanding bump.  Some of my maternity items are getting a little snug already, but this one I know I can wear pretty much to the day I deliver!  It's so comfy.  And so are these dress pants actually.  I'm pretty much to the point that I'm wearing them to work about once a week I think!  Love them.  I also love that once again, I'm rocking high heels.  And I decided to bring out my favorite thrifted find ever - my patchwork Coach bag.  I thought the colors were screaming Fall, so it was time to pull it out of storage.  Just goes to show you never know what you'll find at the Goodwill!

Also helping my mood yesterday was Mr. Monkey and myself getting a bunch more done off of our checklist for baby, every little thing we take care of makes me feel good!

Inspiration Monday - SO a Monday

Well.  It's SO a Monday today you guys.  It's not even 9:00 yet and I managed to spill the old coffee grounds from our coffee pot at work all over the bathroom floor here.  And I somehow misplaced my camera, so today's outfit is photographed with the self timer on my iPhone.  Let's hope this day starts to turn around!

It is Inspiration Monday with two birds and today we have Miranda Kerr in a skirt I wouldn't be caught dead in at this stage of my pregnancy - but I like what I did manage to pull together.

Bad lighting for the photos, but otherwise I really do adore this outfit.  It was a chore getting it all put together I tell you - the Pants Monkey was laughing at me this morning as I struggled into my leggings and boots.  But I made it work!!

White shirt - swap
Blazer - b. a resale shop
Skirt - Liz Lange, thrifted
Leggings - Steve Madden, via DSW
Boots - from mom
Buttonflower - MMD
Earrings - S&D
Necklace - gift from friend

In spite of my whining about Monday, we did have a good weekend.  Our music group threw us a shower and we got another bigger ticket item crossed off of our list so that made me happy.  We also went to a car seat install clinic, so now I feel like the car seat will be safe and secure.  We also managed to have some lazy time with breakfast on Sunday and dinner on Sunday night, so that was good too!

But now it is Monday and I just hope that the way the morning started isn't an indicator of the entire day!  It's early yet though, there's plenty of time to turn this ship around right?  Optimism!!

Friendship Friday

Due to craziness at work and a later morning OB appointment I just didn't have the time to pull together much for a blog post, but I did want to share this photo from my friends shower from a couple of weeks ago.  I am BEYOND BLESSED to have these amazing women in my life.  I have friends from elementary school (as early as kindergarten) through middle school, high school, church, college and beyond in my life, not to mention a very supportive sister in law and a dear friend I made through her - so I am seriously just the luckiest gal around.  I had the best night ever with these ladies and I am so thankful my little guy will have so many surrogate aunties since he will only have one actual auntie.  Friends are the best.  End of story.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  A reminder I'm happily accepting guest posts to schedule on my blog in December and early January - please feel free to email them to me anytime before the end of the month - beth(at)kondrick(dot)com.

Pinned and It and Did It - Maternity Style Help

Hello everyone!  I'm hooking up with Heather's Pinned it and Did It link up today.  I needed some inspiration, it's getting harder to find good ideas for outfits lately, so I spent some time on Pinterest yesterday looking for some ideas and I found several!  Here's what I chose for today.

I loved this outfit because it totally meets my criteria of comfy and also somewhat stylish!  I was excited that I had the necessary items to make this outfit work for me!  Leggings, boots, oversized sweater?  Check, check and check!  Not to mention I haven't worn this striped shirt I got at the swap yet and also, it's been ages since I've worn my favorite H&M sweater.  This is is seriously one of my favorite thrifted items of all time!

I have to say, Pinterest has been a life saver for me during this pregnancy.  I love searching outfit ideas on Pinterest even when I'm not pregnant, but I have been happy to find lots of maternity style there while I have been pregnant!  I highly recommend searching there if you ever find yourself pregnant and struggling with outfit ideas too!  I created a maternity style board separate from my regular style board too.  Feel free to follow me if you don't already!  Link is on the right!

In other news, Mr. Monkey had a physical this morning.  He wanted to get a flu shot before the baby comes and figured it wouldn't hurt to get all checked out too.  It's almost a little strange having him be the one to go to the doctor for once!  I've definitely had my share of appointments lately!  And at least this time was much less eventful than the last time he had a physical.  In the early days of my blog I told the story of what happened - found in this post.  I'm very thankful that nothing like that happened today!

One month to go

I love everything about my outfit today.  It's comfy, everything fits.  It's cozy, it's keeping me warm.  And I still can't get enough mint, so I'm happy to have minty colored items that actually fit.  Oh AND I'm rocking some heels today.  Yep, you heard it.  My due date is one month from today and I am rocking heels.  And they're not even that uncomfortable!

It's crazy to believe in one month (or more...or less...eek!) we will have our little guy here.  There is still much to be done, but I think we'll be ready.  I have had waves of panic, but also waves of calm.  I just ride each of them as they come!  The Pants Monkey said it best the other night "If he came tomorrow, we'd be ready.  If he goes past his due date, we'll still never be ready."  And he's right.  So, I'm just going to enjoy this last month as much as I can, because while it's hard to believe at some points, I may miss this time when it's over!

Comfort and warmth

It's getting to the point that I'm dressing for comfort as much as anything else.  If I can be stylish, well awesome, but man, the bump is getting big guys.  It's getting to be more and more of a challenge.  And then you throw lows in the single digits above zero this morning and it becomes about comfort AND warmth.  So this outfit is basically a repeat, I wore this combo earlier this Fall - but today I added my Mr. Rogers sweater for extra warmth.

You know what is not so much fun when you're pregnant and it's freezing cold out for the first morning of the season?  Getting up early to take your car in for maintenance.  I wanted to get it to the auto shop right when they opened - which didn't go exactly to plan, but I was still there within the first half hour so that counts right?  I'm not excited to do this, it won't be cheap, but should keep my vehicle going for a bit longer and with the baby coming, it's still more cost effective than buying a new car.

Sweater - Vintage, Hill Valley Boutique

I also got a haircut yesterday.  I try to go about every five weeks - so my next haircut may not happen for a bit depending on this little guy's arrival!  Crazy to think about that.  Thankfully she cut it pretty darn short so if I have to put it off for awhile post baby, that's ok.  Besides, I think I'll probably care a little less about it at that point in time!  That's what hats and headbands are for right?

Inspiration Monday - Cat craziness and a request

Hello friends!  Happy Monday!  Did you all have a nice weekend?  Ours was a little busier again, but not too bad.  More on that in a moment, but here is today's Inspiration Monday look from two birds - Jessica Hart.

So I have never found a trench coat that I've ever liked.  And layering is getting to be more of a challenge for me these days, so this is kind of a loose interpretation - I kind of went for the overall color scheme more than anything else!  I'm excited to be wearing a Megan Mae obi belt today - I had been thinking, there's no way I'm going to wear them again until after I have the baby, but actually, I like how it changed up the look of this sweater and kind of accentuates the bump.

 Sweater - Motherhood, consignment
Obi belt - MMD
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Boots - Target

So yes, our weekend was a little hectic - mostly due to the cats needing to go to the vet.  It was an interesting experience bringing them both at the same time - though the vet was nice and offered us a discount for doing that.  My Pippin cat was NOT happy about being in her carrier at all and wasn't afraid to let us know.  Taylor on the other hand just kind of resigned herself to the fact that it was happening and curled up in silence.  Thankfully the vet is five minutes from our house.  Both girls seem quite healthy, though it makes me sad that Taylor is over 7 years old so she is now considered a "senior".  She has a lot of spunk and I believe will have many more good years with us yet, it's just strange to think of her that way!

After we got them home they pretty much hid from us the rest of the day, no surprise there, but at one point before we were heading out to rehearsal with our music group, we could not find Taylor anywhere.  We called for her, looked under every bed and piece of furniture and started having a panic attack when the Pants Monkey remembered he had left the front door open for just a second when bringing in some groceries.  The cats have never snuck out before, but there is a first time for everything.  So we frantically looked outside, kept on calling for her, then decided to do one more sweep of the house and thankfully found her under one cabinet we must have somehow missed.  She was just lethargic and out of it from her shots so she didn't hear us calling her and she wanted to be left alone.  Thankfully she was better yesterday! Never a dull moment sometimes.

One more thing before I go today - I am putting out a request for guest posts to be used when my son is born and the first few weeks I'm home with him - obviously blogging will be put on the back burner for me a little during that time, but I'd like to schedule some posts to keep things active around here.  So, if you're willing to submit a guest post for me, I'd love to have you!  Suggestions for topics include holiday shopping tips, holiday dressing tips, thrifty Christmas ideas, DIY, recipes, mom styling tips if you're a mom or even just a plain old OOTD post - I'm really not picky!  I'd like the posts by November 25th so I can start scheduling them.  I may reach out to some of you personally too, but I wanted to throw this out here for anyone to respond, I'd love to have each and every one of you!

Head on over to two birds for more Inspiration Monday posts!

Grunge

If there was ever a day to wear flannel to the office it would be Friday right?  I'm channeling my inner 90's teen with a little grunge look.  It's pretty chilly outside this morning so it also just seemed like a good day for this cute top.  Yes it's another swap item.  I promise I really wasn't trying to be greedy there!  This one I loved because of the fact that it had this high elastic band right under the chest - which meant the bottom half fit perfectly over the bump.

So who else is glad it's Friday?  Raise your hand!  I swear these weeks go by faster and faster though. Tonight we're blessed to have no plans though, so it's date night.  We're taking advantage of these while we still can!  I think we're going to one of our favorite restaurants that we usually frequent in the summer because they have an awesome patio, but it sounded kind of good right now, so we'll just eat inside.  They have lots of meat which is good for my GD diet.

Tomorrow we're taking both cats to the vet.  At the same time.  Pray for us.  I kid - but we've never done the two of them together.  And I won't lie, I've been slacking in the pet parent department in the last couple of years so they're a little behind on their shots and what not.  I wanted them to have that all taken care of before the baby comes though, so tomorrow is the day.  We got the first appointment of the day, so we'll get it out of the way early and then bring the kitties home and they'll likely avoid us the rest of the day!

Long sleeve t-shirt - Old Navy
Flannel - Swap
Pants - Indigo Blue Maternity, thrifted
Shoes and necklace - Clothes Mentor
Bag - 31 Gifts

It's a good thing we're getting some of this stuff done though - 35 weeks today, roughly five weeks left!  I just can't believe in just over a month this little guy will be here.  I've been making lists and checking them twice - ha - and I feel like we're accomplishing a lot.  I truly believe we'll be ready by the time he gets here, just hoping we're not surprised by a too early arrival or anything.  At least after this week's appointment though it sounds like he's pretty comfortable in there for right now, so that's fine with me!  I'd like him to bake just a little bit more!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Feeling good

Hello everyone!  This week is just rocking and rolling along isn't it?  I'm kind of in love with my outfit today.  I actually meant to wear this for Inspiration Monday this week, but the leggings I wanted weren't clean that day, oops!

This sweater and dress are both from the swap - though I only intended to take home the sweater. Confused?  Well what happened when we were done is everyone took a bag of leftovers to give to our designated thrift store or charity of choice.  I had the bag in my car for the longest time and then brought it in my house over the weekend because I was going to be hauling some stuff home from Sam's Club.  I decided to peek in the bag and see what was left in it - and saw this dress that I completely missed the day of the swap.  And I decided to try it on and see if it would fit over the bump.  And well, it did.  So, hopefully none of the fellow swappers mind that I kept one more small thing!

Sweater and dress - swap
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Boots - Target

And even if it is making me look quite big in profile, there is something about this outfit that is making me feel really good.  Clothes that do that are just the best aren't they?

Speaking of other good things, we had an ultrasound yesterday to check on little man's progress - both because of the Gestational Diabetes and also because the doctor was concerned I was measuring small.  Well the good news is, he's doing just fine and is exactly where he's supposed to be!  They estimate he's about 5 lbs 10 oz and should probably get close to 8 lbs over the next five weeks or so.  He's in the right position and everything else looked great.  Such peace of mind I tell you - I wasn't that worried, but then again, it's so easy to let Dr. Google try and tell you something is wrong when your doctor says "well you are a little on the small side for what week you're on."  So anyway, all is well.  And it was so fun to see him at this stage, we haven't since 20 weeks!  I think he's going to be pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!

My Birthday/Christmas wish list

Just wanted to say thanks for letting me be in a somewhat grumpy mood yesterday.  The day did improve as it went on, especially because I chose to do something fun - I made my Birthday/Christmas wish list.  Well my wish list at least as far as clothing is concerned!  I have chosen to participate in a No Shop November along with Heather at Style Journey - which means no clothes or accessory shopping for myself.  I tend to do this at this time every year with my birthday (Nov 25th) and Christmas so close together.  It's a good time of year to do it.  And I have enough maternity items to get me through to the end I think, so no more shopping for me. Plain and simple.

This doesn't mean it isn't fun though to "window shop" through the magic of the Internet and pick out things that I might enjoy having!  Here is my wish list as of this moment!

This peplum cardigan from Target is adorable.  The peplum would hide my extra belly after baby is born and cardigans are going to be great to throw over a nursing top.  This red and blue stripe is festive for the holidays too!

What does the fox say?  I am obsessed with all things fox.  My poor son already has a ton of fox themed clothing - might as well have mom match with these fun socks from ModCloth right?

I have been loving the embellished sweatshirts I've been seeing all over the place this year.  I know once the baby is here I'm not going to want to take the time to accessorize as much if I am going somewhere, so this would be a good option instead!  And it'll still be cozy because it's a sweatshirt!  The one above here is from Target, but there are some really cute ones at Old Navy too.

Even though I don't shop there as much as I used to, I still love me some LUSH products.  My favorite time of year for LUSH is always the holiday season - this fun hat box is awesome, it has all my favorite bath bombs and bubble bars.  I may not get a lot of relaxing time after baby comes, but this might be nice to have for relaxation before he arrives!

I have been really pairing down my purses but I can't help but love this one from Nine West.  I saw it at DSW a few weeks back, but it's not on their website.  It's available a whole host of other places though. What I think is awesome is the matching wristlet - I could throw that in a diaper bag with my personal items or throw it in the bag if I'm out sans baby.  And the colors match everything!  Brown, black, gray, etc.

How could I not love this scarf from ModCloth with black cats on it??  It looks nice and warm and is a great way to pay homage to my furry loves.  Cause even if I'm having a baby, I am still a crazy cat mama too. Always will be!
Another scarf and another fox item from ModCloth.  This one is more of a fashionable scarf, less for warmth, but I can think of plenty of sweaters in my closet this would go with.  I see scarves working into my new mama wardrobe quite nicely!

I've been ogling these adorable handmade bags from Rouge and Whimsy for quite some time now.  I love this polka dot crossbody fold over and also the polka dot tote bag that she has for sale.  The crossbody seems like a logical choice for after baby - again, I can put most of the stuff in the diaper bag, but a few things for me in this little guy, throw it across my body for hands free access to my little guy and I'd be good to go!

And finally we have this lovely Aztec sweater from H&M.  Again, I'm seeing Aztec print almost everywhere, but I do love H&M quite a bit so I chose this one.  This sweater seems perfect to me - warm, cozy, easy to wear with leggings while I'm still losing baby weight, can again be worn over a nursing tank pretty well. What's not to love?

So there you go!  I've been telling my family to pretty much just do gift cards for me since I don't know quite how my body will be post baby quite yet, but I wouldn't cry if any one of these items showed up as a birthday or Christmas gift for me (PS, hey Pants Monkey?  You reading this? wink wink nudge nudge).
Are you already looking ahead to Christmas?  What's on your wish list this year?
