Minty fresh

Look, I broke my blue/white streak today!  Ok, there's still some white, but the rest of the colors I decided to shake it up a bit - mint!  I haven't worn mint for a while now and decided that this cute shirt I got at Clothes Mentor during the sale last weekend needed to be worn.  It's not even a maternity top, but it sure works great as one!

It also still had it's original tags on - so I feel like I got a pretty darn good deal!  I have no complaints, I think I bought four things at that sale and only spent $24.00.  And now I'm challenging myself to get through the rest of the summer on what I've got.  I'll need some things when fall and winter hit when I'm a bit bigger, so I should save up for then!

 Shirt - Michael Kors, consignment
Shrug - LEI, thrifted
Jeans - JCP brand, JCPenney
Sandals - Merona, Target
Bag - Lulu's
Necklace - Camy Couture
Bracelet - Bead for Life

It's such an odd day - feels like Friday, but it's Wednesday.  And of course, since I have to come back on Friday, it's almost like Thursday.  So confusing.  Let's petition the US government to start observing the July 4th holiday on the first Friday of every July.  Sound good?

  1. That is a super cute outfit today! I love the mint color! I agree that the 4th of July should be celebrated on the first Friday of July - it just makes sense!

  2. Mint is such a pretty color on you! How about we petition for Independence Week? Everyone gets a week off! ;-)

  3. The monochromatic mint is really pretty! I totally agree that the holiday should be on a Friday. I'll be back at work on Friday too and I kinda keep forgetting that I have the day off tomorrow!

  5. Happy Friday! (It's Friday for me, too!) And, just found out we are having a sale July 13-14. It will be a clearance/digger sale where everything is half off. You must swing by - and I will be sure to bring the goodies I have been saving for you! Have a great weekend, friend!

  8. Stunning outfit, those pants are awesome! I know some ladies who went through their whole pregnancy without wearing maternity tops, just went a size up and a lot of flowy tunics!

  9. Such a cute colour palette -- I love the jeans. I was in my sister's closet (as in the place where my sister puts her clothes, not the thrift store/consignment store that seems to exist in the states), helping her pick out something to wear to church this coming Sunday for her son's dedication. Everything I picked she said: "ugh! No, I wore that when I was pregnant" and I reminded her that she had been so excited she was wearing her "normal" clothes when pregnant. Her response: "So what you're saying is I need to go shopping! Ok!" She stands by her decision -- she agrees maternity stores are overpriced and terrible!
