Fierce

This outfit isn't my favorite attempt, but it's not the worst either.  I wore this last Thursday.  It was a bad idea only in that when I went to my OB appt and it was time to be weighed, I didn't want to take my boots off - it was enough of a chore to get them on in the first place!  So we just said they probably added an additional 2 pounds.  And they definitely kept my feet warm while I was waiting outside for my CD!

 Denim shirt - Motherhood, consignment
Sweater - Merona, Target
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Boots - Swap

At least there is something something fierce about cowboy boots and leopard print right?  Maybe just wishful thinking on my part?  I am pregnant, hear me roar?

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!  Today is the Pants Monkey's birthday so the fun doesn't stop! We also have birthdays for both of our dad's in the next week in addition to Thanksgiving, so I just want baby boy to stay put through all of that and then he can come any time!

Speaking of - I have received a few awesome guest posts for while I'm on maternity leave - but I could definitely use more!  Bring them on!  Feel free to email them to me any time this week - beth (at) kondrick (dot) com.  I can't wait to share the posts I've already received and I'm sure there are more awesome ones coming too!

  6. I really like this! I think this would even be a cute going-out look! Ha! I hate taking my shoes off when I go to the doctor's office too.

  7. Oh adorable ensemble Bethie! I love the boots and I am glad you kept them on despite the potential inaccurate number of lbs. I guess you weren't too fond of my birthday wish for baby boy to be born tomorrow? eh? That is very understandable. We want him to have all of his faculties ready and perfect first huh? But I did have a neighbor that had her baby boy 2.5 weeks early in September and he was super fine and healthy. (and they didn't miscalculate) Best to you, and Happy Thanksgiving, too!!!

  8. Oh no! I hate putting on and taking off boots, and I don't have a baby between me and them!
