Best laid plans

So I had totally planned to take pictures outside this morning, because it was gorgeous and thanks to the end of Daylights Savings Time, was plenty light out this morning and I wanted to take advantage of it while it still like that, because I know we'll lose it fast!  I was all set and had more than enough time.

And then the Pants Monkey had a little accident.  He's fine, ended up hurting a couple of toes, but fortunately already had a physical scheduled for this morning - lucky coincidence I guess!  So, I abandoned my pictures and went with him to his appointment.  After all checked out just fine I came into work and snapped these real quick while my boss was out!

I tried to get a couple of pictures with the purple purse I've been carrying as of late because it looks freaking adorable with this outfit, but those pictures came out too fuzzy.

First long skirt of the fall/winter season!  This one isn't terribly heavy, but it is warmer than some of my skirts for sure.  I got this at the thrift store sales I went to on Labor Day.  I have had the sweater forever and a day.

Overall, a nice outfit though, I love how all the colors work together so well!

I'm hoping for a much calmer day for the rest of my Monday!  I hope you all have good days as well!

Sweater - American Rag (purchased few years back at Macy's)
