Get on my horse and ride

So today's outfit makes me feel like I'm going to go horseback riding or something!  I think it's the jacket and the boots that give it that feel.

This is my first time wearing boots this year.  I really want some new boots, specifically ones that lace up, but that will have to wait until after the "no buy".  I may try and snatch some up before the holidays though.

I have had these boots for a million years, no joke, and I really do still like them.  This look may not be as popular as it once was, but I feel that if they still fit, look nice and are comfortable, might as well go with them!

All I need is a riding hat and some gloves and I'd be all set to go do a little riding.  Even in a skirt, why not?  It's long enough!

Finally I had to showcase my little owl here - I adore owls.  I have noticed they've been really popular in accessory trends lately.  My sister in law has a darling owl necklace from Stella and Dot.  I didn't want to totally copy her, so I had been on the lookout for something of my own with an owl.  I found this guy at Charming Charlie in early October and fell in love.  I'm trying to get more into "gold" jewelry too - I tend to only do silver, but I'm working on mixing metals more!

Rundown:
Long sleeve T - Mossimo from Target
Jacket - Polo Ralph Lauren from Burlington Coat Factory (many seasons ago)
Skirt - Alfani from Macy's
Boots - I think DSW or Payless Shoes
Necklace - Charming Charlie
