Inspiration Monday - Super Bowl

Hi people!  I  hope you all had a great weekend!  I had a pretty good one I must say!  We did some Super Bowl eating, er watching (more on that below).  Nate and I had a chance to get out for a bit on Saturday night.  We took Ollie swimming during the day on Saturday.  It was all in all pretty good!  But it is now Monday.  Boo Monday.  But, I am playing along with two birds Inspiration Monday today, so that always helps!  Today they have chosen the beautiful Marion Cotillard.  Love her!

So I'm kind of hitting two sides of the coin today, the look I chose is also going along with the February Pinned It Spinned It I'm doing over on Instagram again.  I added a coat to tie into this inspiration though (and thanks again to the very kind Nora Bird for passing this coat on to me!).

It's been pretty nice here in MN lately, but sadly today it got really cold!  I suffered for you though and took my pictures outside.  Wasn't that nice of me?  Ha, I'm snarky today, must need more coffee!!

Sweater and pants - Old Navy, Scarf - Christmas gift
Boots - Target, Bag - Stella and Dot
Coat - Apt. 9 (from Nora Bird)

Did anyone else watch the Super Bowl?  I was underwhelmed by the commercials - so many dark, depressing ones this year!  I missed the insurance one where the kid is actually dead - kind of glad I wasn't in the room for that one!  I did like a couple of the funnier ones - the Brady Bunch one, the one with God's phone battery dying, those had me laughing.  I love the "Like a Girl" commercial as well, though I had seen that one online months ago, so it wasn't a surprise to me, but I thought it was very well done.  I also enjoyed the halftime show more than I expected to - I am not a huge Katy Perry fan, but I thought she put on a nice show!  And then the game itself was actually more entertaining than I was expecting too, the last few years it seems like it ends up pretty one sided on what team is scoring, but this game was pretty intense at times, though at the end - come on boys, let's be adults here.  Oh well.  It was fun to watch and even more fun to stuff ourselves full of food - we had a taco bar and S'mores dessert and uffda.  I almost had to roll myself to bed!  I'm not a big football fan, but I really do enjoy that we do this every year with Nate's parents, it's a tradition and I would miss it if we didn't do it!

For more Inspiration Monday looks be sure to head to two birds over here.
