Let it snow!

We got a little coating of snow last night!  This shouldn't seem like such a big deal, but we've been so sans snow so far that it's almost a little strange.  I certainly don't want anything like last years huge snow totals, but now that we're getting into the Christmas season, I'd like to see some white.

Anyway, I totally had originally planned on wearing a skirt today, but that just wasn't happening when I realized it had snowed and that it was going to be getting colder throughout the day.

So I chose warm fuzzy corduroy pants for today.  And you know how earlier this week I was talking about stores I kind of "retired" from now that I hit 30?  Heh, these are from Hollister - though they were bought through thrifting.  Kind of funny I guess.  But hey, they fit well and they are sooooo comfy.

Also funny is how well these shirts go together - they are both Merona brand from Target, but they weren't purchased at the same time.  They weren't even purchased in the same year!

Finally, I thought I'd share some of my winter gear - this peacoat gets me through most weather, when it gets super cold, I have to go to more of an "industrial" type jacket.  I have a green scarf that actually was made for the Pants Monkey by my sister-in-law, but I stole it because it actually fits me well and goes with this coat nicely, bringing out the green line in the plaid.  And now I have my red purse that brings out the red line in the plaid!  I added this cute headband from Charming Charlie - it's kind of flapper style, how fun is that?

The only down side about today being December 1st?  I have got to get on my Christmas shopping!  Eek!
