Neutral Challenge Day 1 - Black

So I've joined Megan and Keely for their Neutrals Fashion Challenge week.  Fun way to remix my wardrobe a bit!  Monday is Black, so this adorable dress I picked up at the Two Birds sale seemed to fit the bill perfectly!!

It's freaking houndstooth!!!  I adore houndstooth!  My mom went to the sale with me and when we saw this on the rack she's like "you have to try this on".  Patterns, I'm all about the patterns!

Add my black sweater, black tights and black shoes and I'm good to go!  I have other ideas for styling this lovely dress too, so I think it'll be a frequent flyer this winter!

I feel so totally chic today!  I love it!  Ignore the step stool in this last picture, I was going to do something with it and then at the last second decided not to.  Ha ha!  It's Monday, what can I say?

Rundown:
Dress - Vintage, Two Birds Boutique
Sweater - Mossimo, Target
Tights - Target
Shoes - Maurices

If you're new to my blog - welcome!  I hope you'll come back sometime!

  5. I'm envious you live close enough to shop the two birds sale! You could wear that dress every week and do it different every time. Very cute - great score!

  9. I love the "period-mixing"... the shoes seem 1930s-ish, and the dress very 1960s!
