TIGF - Remembering my GD journey

Hosted by Ashley, Nay and Laura

So yeah, this might seem like an odd thing to celebrate on Things I am Grateful For Friday.  Just go with me here.

A year ago today I was just entering my third trimester in what had been a dream pregnancy.  I had never been sick, I hadn't had any major issues, it had been a breeze.  But, as those of you have been pregnant know, at the beginning of your third trimester you go through the Gestational Diabetes testing.  I naively thought that because everything else in my pregnancy had been so easy, I'd come through that with flying colors.  Turns out I was wrong.  A year ago today the bottom fell out from under me when the sweet nurse (who happens to be married to my cousin, so that helped a little) gently told me "unfortunately you are going to have to go in for diabetic counseling."  I was devastated.  I had taken such good care of myself leading up to that point, I made sure I was eating well, taking vitamins and keeping up with my exercise - how did that happen?  I remember I kept it together long enough to talk to the scheduler about getting into a diabetic class and her even commenting "wow, you are handling this news really well." Yeah lady, I wear a good mask.  I got into my car and called Nate and seriously broke down.  Looking back it was the dumbest things that I was upset about too.  I distinctly remember sobbing about "I can't have pie, I can't have cookies, I can't have my latte!!"  And of course, good hubby Nate talked me off the ledge.

We got through it and I became the model gestational diabetic patient.  I was lucky enough that just monitoring my diet was enough to keep it under control.  And we figured out a way for me to still eat a lot of good things that I loved.  And you know what?  Those last three-ish months went by the fastest of my entire pregnancy.  It was not the end of the world.  Looking back, I almost feel it was a blessing in a way.  And that is why I'm discussing this as something I'm grateful for today.

I had seen an article on one of the Mom groups I follow on Facebook that of course I can't find now about a mom who was saying she was thankful for her Gestational Diabetes - and she was actually attacked quite a bit in the comments.  Now I get it - not all moms who end up with GD have it as easy as I did.  Yes there are risks to your unborn child and it leaves you at a higher risk of developing Type II diabetes later in life. So yes, I can understand why people would question being thankful for this type of health issue.  But like the mom in the article, I found many positives to the situation.  I received more monitoring at the end of my pregnancy, including getting to see Oliver in a late ultrasound and that was pretty neat.  I ended up not gaining as much weight at the end thanks to my diet and the weight came off easily after Oliver was born.  It actually brought Nate and I even closer together - he was such a HUGE support and champion for me.  He is the main chef at our house and he worked hard to make sure I was eating right and keeping my sugars under control.  He just looked at it like it was another fun cooking challenge.  He worked to find recipes that would be lower in carbs and as a result we tried some fun new dishes. I actually didn't mind the testing of my sugar - yes there was a needle prick involved, but I got used to it.  I actually was a bit of a nerd in that I liked tracking my numbers, it was sort of entertaining to me.  So in the end, it really wasn't that bad.

Once you deliver your baby, you are GD free.  Oliver arrived safely and was healthy and of course I am thankful for that.  I'm thankful that we have modern medicine practices that can catch issues like this that develop in pregnancy - without it, Oliver could have grown much larger and we both could have been in danger when it came time for him to be born.  I would happily deal with the testing and diet again to ensure a healthy baby.  So yes, strange as it sounds, I am thankful for the day a year ago that I heard those awful words because in the end, they weren't so awful.  And this little man is worth every second I dealt with it.

Mom and Baby essentials for the first month

My sweet friend Maca gave me a really great idea for a blog post - she's throwing a baby shower and wanted to know what were some of the essential things for both myself and baby for the first days home. I'm happy to share!  Here are some of the things I couldn't live without.  If you're a mom, feel free to chime in in the comments with your thoughts as well!

1. My Brest Friend pillow - it's a nursing pillow that is different from a standard Boppy - it has a belt so you can attach it to yourself - which means if you have to get up and move while nursing baby, you can do so a little more easily.  It also has a bit more support all the way around.  I am not using it much now that Oliver is bigger, but those first few weeks I couldn't imagine not having it. I think it would also provide good support for mama if she is formula feeding too.  It's just a great back and arm support to help hold baby. It also has a pocket on the side which was useful for item number two.

2. Lanolin - I've already talked at length about nursing on the blog here so you're probably thinking I can't talk about anything else these days - but if you are a nursing mama, you're going to want your lanolin cream.  Saved my precious tatas more than I can say.  Apply generously.  I used the Lanisoh brand, but apparently there is one called Mother's Love that is really good too.

3. Halo sleep sacks - we still use these now, Oliver doesn't sleep at night unless he's swaddled, but in the first days home we swaddled more or less all the time and the sleep sacks make swaddling way easier.  The Pants Monkey is great at swaddling with a blanket, but I'm all thumbs with it.  The hospital sent us home with a sleep sack but we bought a couple and got a couple at showers as well.  And like I said, two months in we still can't live without it at night.

4. Some sort of basket/caddy for diaper changes - we would load up this basket I have from Thirty-One with diapers and wipes to take from room to room with us.  Much faster and easier than going all the way to his room for changes.

5. Nursing camis - again, for the nursing mama, camisoles that are meant for nursing - they'll fit better as your breasts adjust to milk supply than a nursing bra will in the beginning.  They'll be comfier too and you can sleep in them if needed.

6. Gift cards for take out - it helps so much to not have to cook much those first few weeks.  Gift cards to places that either deliver or will allow dad to go pick up some food quickly is very helpful!

7. A pacifier - yes I am a breastfeeding mama but I am not anti-pacifier and you know what, I gave Oliver one before we even left the hospital.  I know there can be the risk of nipple confusion, but if nursing is going well it won't be a huge deal.  And there are times - especially like the first few car rides - where you're going to want something to soothe baby.  We love the Soothie brand that the hospital gives out, but we also love the MAM Air - that is the one Oliver uses the most right now.

8. Healthy easy to eat snacks for mom - again I think this only makes sense whether your nursing or bottle feeding - but especially if you're nursing - things like granola bars, raisins, small bags of pretzels or crackers - easy things to eat when you can't get off the couch or out of bed to eat because you are feeding your baby.

9. Some kind of baby carrier - we started using both our Ergo carrier and our Moby wrap with Oliver before he was even a month old. Sometimes it's the only way you'll get things done once you're up and about more.  The Pants Monkey prefers the Ergo while I tend to use the Moby.  They are both on the expensive side - I recently read there are directions online somewhere to make your own Moby for pretty cheap, so there is that alternative if you do some digging!

10. Socks - both for mom and baby!  Mom will want some nice comfy socks to have at the hospital, nothing feels better than your own warm socks after delivery. And we liked having socks for baby if he was wearing a onesie and pants instead of a sleeper.  Then again, we delivered in the middle of the first cold snap and blizzard of the year, so maybe that is why I found socks for both to be so nice.  For summer, you probably would feel differently!

11. Lotion and Chapstick for mom (and dad might even appreciate it too!) - it was SO dry at the hospital and it was just as dry after we got home too.  We were slathering on lotion and Chapstick like it was going out of style for easily the first couple of weeks.  It didn't help that we were washing our hands all the time after diaper changes too.  So lotion AND chapstick were lifesavers!

That's what I can think of!  As I said, feel free to chime in if you're a mama and can think of things I left off this list!

Labor Day

This is my last maternity outfit.  Fun story - I am in early labor in these pictures, I just didn't know it quite yet!  I actually made it through half a work day the day he was born before realizing something was up.

Looking at these pics though I can tell I am not feeling 100% right.  My boss could tell I was off that day too and was not surprised I delivered that night!  I didn't even put on jewelry - rare for me as you all know!

Top - Mix It, thrifted
Sweater - swap
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Shoes - Clothes Mentor

At any rate I am glad I have an outfit picture from my final day of being pregnant.  I still can't believe he is here.  I wasn't even due until today!  Hope all is well with all of you - I have been reading your blogs when I can even if I can't easily comment right now!  I miss all of you!

Baby Boo

Well, it's been quite a week here my friends - this whole time I assumed I'd go past my due date, but surprise, our baby boy decided to make his appearance just a little early.  I'd like to introduce Oliver Michael, born Tuesday, December 3rd at 10:13 pm.  7 lbs, 2 oz, 19 in.

We ended up with a snowstorm the next day and a huge drop in temperature - the old wives tale about barometric pressure and women going into labor must be true!  I do have to brag - labor was only 7 hours long.  It was really a fantastic experience - we had a water birth and I won't go into crazy details here but if anyone is ever curious, I'd be happy to share offline.

Mr. Monkey is a fantastic daddy and support to me.  He has helped tremendously in these first days home! We have settled in well and are just smitten with this little guy.

Obviously posting will be sporadic here now, but I will be getting some outstanding guest posts up very soon amidst some of my own.  Thank you all for the support these last nine months! I appreciate it more than you can know!!

Friday Fun

Yay it's FRIDAY!  And there was great rejoicing throughout the land!  I'm so excited for this weekend.  Not only are we going to see Catching Fire for our early birthday celebration, but I'm also getting a manicure and pedicure with Miss Lori.  And the Pants Monkey and I are having a good friend take maternity pictures for us so we can have some nice looking ones for the memories!  I know I've photographed myself just about every day during this pregnancy, which has been fun, but it will be nice to have a professional do it for me instead!

Speaking of taking pictures every day, it's getting harder to creatively dress this bump you guys.  You may see more posts like my book review yesterday here and there as we get closer to the end.  I hope you enjoyed that post though as it was a bit out of the norm for around here.

Yesterday I continued a tradition with another good friend of mine of going to stand in line at Target for a local radio station's release of a CD.  They compile live performances from various artists throughout the year and then release the CD with proceeds going to charity every November.  This year was the 25th anniversary - we've been going more or less for the last ten years.  We've managed to collect a couple of earlier years via Ebay as well, but otherwise I have years 15-25 which is pretty awesome!  They're rather unique recordings from a lot of pretty cool people, so it's fun to collect them.  This year may have been the last sadly, so I'm glad we were able to get our hands on one!

Striped shirt - Swap
Sweater - thrifted
Jeans - Indigo Blue Maternity, thrifted
Boots - Target
Scarf - World Market

And of course I have to do my Friday bump shot.  37 weeks guys.  That's technically term, but as I said earlier this week, I'm happy to let him bake another couple of weeks!  Too much going on in the next week for sure, but anytime after December 1st is fair game I think!  I just keep going one day at a time otherwise, it's all you can really do at this point.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

The number game

Hello everyone!  We've made it to Hump Day!  We're halfway to that coveted weekend!  And next week is a short one with the Thanksgiving holiday!  We've got this!

So it's really interesting to me the foods that will spike my blood sugars and the ones that don't.  I have to check my blood sugar an hour after every meal for the Gestational Diabetes.  It's all about balancing your carbs - not necessarily the sugar.  And you have to eat SOME carbs.  So, here's an example of how funny I think this is - yesterday for lunch I had a spinach salad with some chicken, a small yogurt and a breadstick.  My number was in range, but on the high side of normal.  For dinner, we had nachos with cheese and meat and well, taco chips of course.  Chips you would think would really be something that would spike me - nope.  My after dinner number was on the low side of normal!  Potatoes and rice spike me.  Pasta does not. With bread it kind of depends.  Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  It's just all big old game, but at least I'm still winning!

Shirt - QT Maternity, consignment
Sweater - swap
Pants - Liz Lange, Target
Shoes - Steve Madden, thrifted
Necklace - Stella and Dot

I told Mr. Monkey I don't know that I want to test at all on Thanksgiving Day - not only is it going to be a carb heavy meal, we're going to be eating at odd times that day too!  We'll see.  The end of this wackiness is in sight at least!

Friendship Friday

Due to craziness at work and a later morning OB appointment I just didn't have the time to pull together much for a blog post, but I did want to share this photo from my friends shower from a couple of weeks ago.  I am BEYOND BLESSED to have these amazing women in my life.  I have friends from elementary school (as early as kindergarten) through middle school, high school, church, college and beyond in my life, not to mention a very supportive sister in law and a dear friend I made through her - so I am seriously just the luckiest gal around.  I had the best night ever with these ladies and I am so thankful my little guy will have so many surrogate aunties since he will only have one actual auntie.  Friends are the best.  End of story.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  A reminder I'm happily accepting guest posts to schedule on my blog in December and early January - please feel free to email them to me anytime before the end of the month - beth(at)kondrick(dot)com.

One month to go

I love everything about my outfit today.  It's comfy, everything fits.  It's cozy, it's keeping me warm.  And I still can't get enough mint, so I'm happy to have minty colored items that actually fit.  Oh AND I'm rocking some heels today.  Yep, you heard it.  My due date is one month from today and I am rocking heels.  And they're not even that uncomfortable!

Mint shirt - Liz Lange, consignment
Sweater - swap
Pants - Liz Lange, consignment
Necklace - S&D
Shoes - Eitenne Aigner, thrifted

It's crazy to believe in one month (or more...or less...eek!) we will have our little guy here.  There is still much to be done, but I think we'll be ready.  I have had waves of panic, but also waves of calm.  I just ride each of them as they come!  The Pants Monkey said it best the other night "If he came tomorrow, we'd be ready.  If he goes past his due date, we'll still never be ready."  And he's right.  So, I'm just going to enjoy this last month as much as I can, because while it's hard to believe at some points, I may miss this time when it's over!

Grunge

If there was ever a day to wear flannel to the office it would be Friday right?  I'm channeling my inner 90's teen with a little grunge look.  It's pretty chilly outside this morning so it also just seemed like a good day for this cute top.  Yes it's another swap item.  I promise I really wasn't trying to be greedy there!  This one I loved because of the fact that it had this high elastic band right under the chest - which meant the bottom half fit perfectly over the bump.

So who else is glad it's Friday?  Raise your hand!  I swear these weeks go by faster and faster though. Tonight we're blessed to have no plans though, so it's date night.  We're taking advantage of these while we still can!  I think we're going to one of our favorite restaurants that we usually frequent in the summer because they have an awesome patio, but it sounded kind of good right now, so we'll just eat inside.  They have lots of meat which is good for my GD diet.

Tomorrow we're taking both cats to the vet.  At the same time.  Pray for us.  I kid - but we've never done the two of them together.  And I won't lie, I've been slacking in the pet parent department in the last couple of years so they're a little behind on their shots and what not.  I wanted them to have that all taken care of before the baby comes though, so tomorrow is the day.  We got the first appointment of the day, so we'll get it out of the way early and then bring the kitties home and they'll likely avoid us the rest of the day!

Long sleeve t-shirt - Old Navy
Flannel - Swap
Pants - Indigo Blue Maternity, thrifted
Shoes and necklace - Clothes Mentor
Bag - 31 Gifts

It's a good thing we're getting some of this stuff done though - 35 weeks today, roughly five weeks left!  I just can't believe in just over a month this little guy will be here.  I've been making lists and checking them twice - ha - and I feel like we're accomplishing a lot.  I truly believe we'll be ready by the time he gets here, just hoping we're not surprised by a too early arrival or anything.  At least after this week's appointment though it sounds like he's pretty comfortable in there for right now, so that's fine with me!  I'd like him to bake just a little bit more!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Feeling good

Hello everyone!  This week is just rocking and rolling along isn't it?  I'm kind of in love with my outfit today.  I actually meant to wear this for Inspiration Monday this week, but the leggings I wanted weren't clean that day, oops!

This sweater and dress are both from the swap - though I only intended to take home the sweater. Confused?  Well what happened when we were done is everyone took a bag of leftovers to give to our designated thrift store or charity of choice.  I had the bag in my car for the longest time and then brought it in my house over the weekend because I was going to be hauling some stuff home from Sam's Club.  I decided to peek in the bag and see what was left in it - and saw this dress that I completely missed the day of the swap.  And I decided to try it on and see if it would fit over the bump.  And well, it did.  So, hopefully none of the fellow swappers mind that I kept one more small thing!

Sweater and dress - swap
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Boots - Target

And even if it is making me look quite big in profile, there is something about this outfit that is making me feel really good.  Clothes that do that are just the best aren't they?

Speaking of other good things, we had an ultrasound yesterday to check on little man's progress - both because of the Gestational Diabetes and also because the doctor was concerned I was measuring small.  Well the good news is, he's doing just fine and is exactly where he's supposed to be!  They estimate he's about 5 lbs 10 oz and should probably get close to 8 lbs over the next five weeks or so.  He's in the right position and everything else looked great.  Such peace of mind I tell you - I wasn't that worried, but then again, it's so easy to let Dr. Google try and tell you something is wrong when your doctor says "well you are a little on the small side for what week you're on."  So anyway, all is well.  And it was so fun to see him at this stage, we haven't since 20 weeks!  I think he's going to be pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!

Welcome November

Well look at that, it's November.  November is one of my favorite months of the year, my birthday and the Pants Monkey's birthday are later this month and as I mentioned yesterday, I love Thanksgiving! (PS, thanks all for not disowning me over my less love of Halloween)  This particular November I hope to slow down and enjoy each moment as it's pretty much the last month I'll be entirely child free.  We have a couple more classes coming up, this time not pertaining to the birth but instead are about actually taking care of said child. Cause did you know that after you have a baby it goes home to live with you forever?  Ha.  At any rate, it should be a good month.

I adore this cardigan I got at the last Tandem Vintage sale.  I am a cat person as you all know, but I have a soft spot for dogs and I when I saw that this was a plaid scotty dog, I just had to have it.  And then I decided this cardigan would look super cute with this yellow shirt I scored at the swap.  Instant outfit, you have to love it.  And speaking of the lovely ladies of Tandem Vintage, I'm super happy for them, they have a permanent home!  They'll be housed with a local vintage shop here called Junket two weekends a month every month.  They've worked super hard for this, they totally deserve it! Congrats Amanda and Ashley!!

Cardigan - Tandem Vintage
Shirt - Banana Republic via swap
Jeans - Indigo Blue Maternity via Gordmans
Necklace - Charming Charlie
Boots - Target

And being that it's Friday, it's weekly bump shot time.  34 weeks today.  You can clearly see how pregnant I am when I stand to the side! I'm still so thankful to be pretty much all baby.  I hope it means the after baby weight loss goes a little easier.  I miss my old jeans, lol.

Have a great weekend!

Acai and 33

TGIF my friends!  We have made it through another week again!  I'm so excited today - my shower with my girlfriends is tonight.  I'm sure that will make the day drag a bit.  I love my families and those showers were fun and wonderful, but there is something about time with your closest friends you know?  I've been craving a night like this and I'm just so excited to hang out with my lady peeps!

Today's color for the Pantone color challenge is Acai - a nice shade of purple.  I wore the perfect outfit to my shower and Josh Groban concert last weekend and had every intention of using it for today but I never took the time to actually photograph it!  Blogger fail.  So, I chose to style my super comfy purple leggings for today instead.  The Pants Monkey said I looked cute this morning, so that's always a win.  And, I have had this shirt for a couple of months now but haven't shared it on the blog yet, so that's something too I suppose!

The button sweater is the gray one I was talking about earlier this week that I picked up at the swap.  And it may be my new favorite thing ever.  I don't know that I'll need to wear it all day, but it was below freezing this morning and the striped shirt is thin, so I needed the extra layer!  It's supposed to actually be pretty nice out later today though, so maybe I will be able to shed a layer!

 Sweater - swap
Striped shirt - Zulily
Leggings - Simply Vera, Kohls
Necklace - Stella and Dot with MMD buttonflower
Boots - Target
Bag - 31 Gifts

And of course, Friday is the day we count weeks and so we're at 33 weeks today, so there's my 33 week bump.  I'm trying to no longer panic over how much time is or isn't left.  We've made good progress at home and we still do have some time left.  And that's all that matters at the moment.  This weekend I'm treating Mr. Monkey and myself to a break, we're going to take some time for ourselves on Sunday, getting breakfast out somewhere and maybe just being lazy with movies all day.  We try to take a day and do that every Fall and I feel like we need a day like that before the baby comes.  We've been working hard on baby prep and house projects in addition to our regular jobs and our music group and it can get a little crazy sometimes.  So I'm quite excited for a "me and him" day!

And that brings us to the end of the Pantone Inspired Fall color challenge week!  I had a lot of fun!  I haven't decided what outfit this week was my favorite, but I loved all the colors, that is for sure!  Make sure you head to Heidi's blog to see other how other bloggers styled Acai today!

Some things I love

You know what I love?  Maternity clothes that don't feel that much like maternity clothes.  I had completely forgotten about this hooded sweater I bought from Old Navy during a sale in maybe August?  I found it in my closet this week and decided, this would be really cute with leggings and boots.  And this is an outfit I'd wear even if I wasn't pregnant!  Say what you want about Old Navy - but I have to say, lately they've kind of been on a roll with cute stuff and the maternity stuff I've bought from them has been rather nice.  I may be holding onto this sweater for postpartum for a bit too!

The other thing I love?  Getting a decent full night's sleep!  Hallelujah I woke up feeling like the birds were singing all around me.  I didn't get up once to to go to the bathroom, I didn't wake up with intense hip or leg pain.  I just flat out slept ALL NIGHT LONG.  It was such a gift.  I just want to take advantage of as many good nights of sleep as I can get before this little guy gets here and lately, that's been a challenge.  So I'm a happy camper today.  It's the little things sometimes!

Sweater - Old Navy Maternity
Leggings - Steve Madden via DSW
Boots - Target, old
Necklace - gift from friend

I also love how spiky my hair turned out today.  I love that the week is almost over.  I just love everything today!  What do you love today?

Doctor, doctor, give me the news

Man, I really need to get back to taking my pictures at home again you guys.  I am failing at this photography thing lately!  This is an outfit from last week and I tried several different spots in my office and it just wasn't working great!  Sigh.  Also, I'll try to get back into the habit of jewelry close ups again, had some requests for that yesterday.  Again, this outfit is from last week though, so what you get is what you get for today!

Anyway, I pre-planned this post, I have a routine OB appt today that is at a later time than I usually take. Because the practice I go to has several OB's on staff, they encourage you to at least meet everyone once because any one of them could be the one that's there for you on the big day.  So while I have a doctor I like there quite a bit, it was time to start spreading it out a bit and meeting others as well.  There is one doc I really do not want at all, he put the fear of God into us months ago at our first appointment when he couldn't find the heartbeat and while I appreciated him being proactive about it, the alarmist approach was not appreciated.  So I'm really hoping he won't be the one on call that day!!

Shirt - Oh Mamma, thrifted
Pants - Liz Lange, consignment
Necklace - DIY by me

Overall the staff at my clinic is really great, I can't stress how important it is to be comfortable with where you're going when you're pregnant - in order for me to do that, I actually chose a practice that isn't the health practice I work for.  I just figured it would be awkward and uncomfortable to be having those kinds of exams by people I talk to on the phone for facility type issues!  So while I think it's good to support your own business, it's also important to protect your own privacy too!

Inspiration Monday - Progress

Hey friends!  Happy Monday!  Did you all have a good weekend?  We got a lot done at our house, the baby's room is coming along nicely - we even got the crib set up!  No decorations yet, but we'll get there! And well the rest of the house looks like the spare bedroom threw up all over it, but we have some organized chaos and plans on where we'll be storing a lot of items now.  One step at a time right?

So it's Inspiration Monday and for whatever reason I couldn't get the photo from two birds to load and save on my computer at all, so I don't have the model picture - it's Julianne Hough and well, my outfit is a "if you blink" inspired look anyway.  Check out two birds and you'll see what I mean.  Oh well, I'm pregnant darn it and that's just going to be my excuse today.  I must say, I do like Julianne Hough even if I only just got into Dancing with the Stars this year and she isn't on it anymore.

Shirt - Ann Taylor, from cousin
Blazer - F21
Pants - Motherhood, consignment
Necklace - Camy Couture

So anyway, I thought I'd share a little bit of what we've got so far for the baby's room - like I said, we still need to decorate, put stuff away more neatly, etc, but you'll get the general idea!

We still have a couple more showers, so I'm hoping to get some of the decor stuff we want and can work on it after that.  But hey, at the very least, yay we have a crib!

31 and a little fun

Friday again?  Wow!  You certainly won't hear me complaining, but man did another week go by fast!  I like when work flies by, but I need time to slow just a bit, we have so much to do at home to get ready for little man.  I think this weekend will be a bit on the busy side as we attack some more of that stuff!  Tonight though we're treating ourselves to a date night.  It might be the last nice warm day here so we're going to attempt to maybe eat outside, though I hear it could be windy, so I guess we'll see what the end of the day brings!

I had to laugh this morning.  The Pants Monkey was telling me all about the vivid dreams he had last night. And they were very weird!  I keep teasing him that he is getting sympathy pregnancy symptoms, as pregnant women can have very strange and vivid dreams.  I have had a few, but not quite in the detail he could remember this morning!

Shirt - MixIt, thrifted
Jeans - Indigo Blue Maternity via Gordmans
Sweater - Mossimo, Target
Shoes - Sonoma, Kohls
Necklace - unknown, old

And speaking of pregnancy, we're 31 weeks today - hey, he's as old as me!  Kind of.  I remember when I turned 31 this year I deemed it the year of 30-fun.  Well, I've managed to have as much fun as a pregnant lady can, considering I'll have been withchild for half of my 31st year of life.  Next month I'll be 32 and I kind of hope the year of 32 is a little less eventful, as exciting as this all has been!

Hope you all have wonderful weekends!
